We rescued this cask before it passed the point of no return. It sat quietly minding its own business for a quarter of a century, a year more and it may have been no longer. A properly grown up Bunna that proves patience really is a virtue, even if we weren’t the ones who had to do the waiting.

Conspirator’s Notes

Nose: Bananas on warm porridge, cool coastal breeze
Palate: Silky orchard fruit, honey glaze, warm malt loaf and a touch of waxy sweetness.
Finish: Long, mellow and slightly leathery with toasted almonds and a brine end note
