Macduff 12 Year Old

We pinched this cask from a warehouse that clearly didn’t realise what it had. First fill sherry doing all the heavy lifting here, turning a humble Macduff into something big, loud and very much not for sipping quietly in the corner.

Conspirator’s Notes

Nose: Big oak, mixed berry jam and dairy milk
Palate: Big sherry blast, all treacle, burnt sugar crust and juicy sultanas
Finish: Long, rich and warming with lingering dark fruit, sherry-soaked oak and a final hit of sweet spice.
