Clynelish famously has a waxy citrus flavour-profile, allegedly because the distillery workers didn’t clean the feints receiver between the pair of copper pot stills all too regularly. That may be true, or maybe they were too busy trying to find the casks the Artful Dodger had purloined to remember to clean it. All we know is that this waxy little number tastes sublime and the secret ingredient may or may not be crime.
